January 2026 monthly report – Changes to statuses

As part of deployment of the improved online services of the Commission de la construction du Québec (CCQ) and the coming into force of regulatory and administrative changes affecting the monthly report, certain statuses have been withdrawn.

These changes come into effect for the January 2026 monthly report.

To simplify administration and enhance the compliance of the reports, status F now becomes regular status, and statuses M, F, and L are no longer in use.

File your monthly report for January now, before February 15, 2026.

What statuses are used now?

Concretely:

  • Hours that were reported under status M (production machinery) are now reported under status A (voluntary contribution with social benefits).

  • Hours that were reported under status L (preparation hours) are also now reported under status A.

  • Hours that were reported under status F are now reported, if you are registered with the CCQ as a paid administrator, under the regular status (regular employee).

How will the abolition of status F work?

The CCQ will not deduct at source the union dues or contributions to the compensation fund for company officers registered as such. Company officers must, however, maintain a union allegiance in their file. If you do not yet have a union membership, fill out the form for this purpose.

What is a company officer?

It is a person fulfilling one of the following roles in your organization and registered as such with the CCQ: chair, vice-chair, administrator, secretary, treasurer, partner, or shareholder.
