Given the rising numbers of fraud attempts and cyberattacks today, the Commission de la construction du Québec (CCQ) is launching a cybersecurity awareness-raising campaign aimed at the entire industry.
Why now?
Cybercriminals take advantage of key moments (including when vacation pay, insurability notices, and revenue statements are being sent out) to step up their attacks. Their strategies are becoming more and more convincing and targeted.
In this context, each click and each decision counts.
This campaign, part of the organization’s strategic planning, is intended to give workers and employers strong tools for recognizing threats and acting quickly.
A simple, concrete concept
For this campaign, designed with familiar messages to leave a lasting impression, the CCQ called upon Sensei Sakejdi to promote effective strategies to defend against online fraud.
The threats are real
Every day, fraud attempts circulate:
- Fake emails imitating the CCQ or its partners
- Misleading messages related to payments or benefits
- Malware aimed at accessing personal data
The more you recognize them, the better you’ll protect yourself.
Practical tools for taking action
The campaign offers three short, impactful videos:
- Password: Strengthening security without making life complicated
- Phishing: Spot the traps before it’s too late
- Malware: avoiding unpleasant surprises
The goal: To adopt good habits, simply and effectively.
Cybersecurity is everyone’s business!
