Canada Post labour conflict: Important information concerning the CCQ’s services

Most recent update: October 14, 2025

Given the partial return to service of Canada Post as of Saturday, October 11, 2025, please note that the Commission de la Construction du Québec (CCQ) has restarted sending documents to its clientele by regular mail. Therefore, deliveries of documents by private courier services will stop.

However, delays in the delivery of documents are to be expected.

The CCQ will continue to follow the situation closely and will quickly re-establish measures to ensure that priority services are not interrupted, if necessary. Even if there are postal service disruptions, you are responsible for fulfilling your obligations to the CCQ, as set out by the law and the regulations. These include, for example, payments and documents that must be provided. Alternative means exist to enable you to fulfil these obligations.
