The Commission de la construction du Québec’s Plan d’action de développement durable 2023–2027 (sustainable development action plan) – Launch of the 2025-2027 update

The Commission de la construction du Québec (CCQ) is proud to unveil its updated sustainable development action plan (PADD)  for the 2025–2027 period. The plan is based on the environmental, social, and economic facets of sustainable development.

The CCQ’s PADD includes 16 measures, which are aligned with the government’s sustainable development strategy.

The topics covered include:

  • Development of stakeholder and workforce knowledge and skills
  • A positive work environment
  • Sustainable investment
  • Responsible procurement
  • Eco-responsible real estate management practices
  • Sustainable mobility

As the CCQ’s CEO, Audrey Murray, says, “Right now, our society is at a crossroads. Our lifestyles and development patterns must evolve. The CCQ and the construction sector as a whole can play a decisive role in meeting these major challenges. Our organization, a major player, is dutybound to set the example by adopting concrete measures to reduce its ecological footprint, promote inclusion, and contribute to a sustainable economy.”

The CCQ’s commitment to sustainable development, including engaging in environmentally friendly, socially inclusive, and economically responsible practices, will continue in the coming years through the implementation of the PADD.
