Mission of the CCQ libraries

To offer a wide range of specialized collections related to the Québec construction sector:

  • Construction in general: standards, types of construction, materials, machinery and equipment, training of builders, ecological construction, construction problems, etc.
  • Labour relations between unions and employers
  • Health and safety on the job
  • Women in nontraditional trades
  • Adult education
  • Labour issues: under-the-table work, tax evasion, seasonal work, etc.
  • Relations with Aboriginal peoples

Access to the on-line catalogue

To access the CCQ’s collections, you can perform a search on CUBIQ, the Catalogue unifié des bibliothèques gouvernementales du Québec. CUBIQ gives access to all books, periodicals, and collections belonging to 30 government departments and agencies grouped within the Réseau informatisé des bibliothèques gouvernementales du Québec (RIBG) of the Centre des services partagés du Québec (CSPQ).
