The Commission de la construction du Québec is publishing a new statistical study on Aboriginal workers in the construction industry.

The study shows that Aboriginal people represent about 0.66% of the industry’s workforce. The CCQ finds this low proportion concerning, and it is currently working to adopt an access program that will facilitate entry into the construction industry and job retention for Aboriginal workers.
