On March 4, 2019, amendments to the Regulation respecting the issuance of competency certificatesreglementation  concerning people holding an occupation competency certificate with the rating “Water System Worker” will come into effect.

The Commission de la construction du Québec (CCQ) is reviewing the rules in order to introduce specific criteria for obtaining and maintaining the “Water System Worker” rating on occupation competency certificates. These changes will make it possible to ensure that the level of expertise of the workforce is maintained and that public health objectives are met more appropriately.
