On December 20, 2019, people insured for the period from January 1 to June 30, 2020 will begin to receive in the mail a brand-new MÉDIC Construction card with a single identification number.

The old card will no longer be valid as of December 31, 2019, so, starting January 1, 2020, these insureds will have to present this new card to their pharmacist, dentist, and other healthcare professionals at their first visit in order to obtain direct reimbursement.

And, starting January 6, 2020, insureds will be able to use the MÉDIC Construction application to display the digital version of their card on their mobile device and present it directly to their provider. To do this, they will have to register for the online services at sel.ccq.org and download the MÉDIC Construction application.
