Dominique Vien, the Minister Responsible for Labour, has announced that the Regulation respecting volunteer construction work will come into effect on November 23, 2017. To find out more, read the related press release.

The Regulation will come into effect on November 23, 2017. The CCQ is currently developing a tool to help concerned parties determine if this new regulation will apply to their construction projects. We therefore suggest that you wait for the launch of this tool to ask questions about the application of these new rules.
