Measures instituted due to the Canada Post service interruption

Measures instituted due to the Canada Post service interruption

Most recent update: September 30, 2025

Due to the resumption of the labour conflict at Canada Post, some current activities at the Commission de la construction du Québec (CCQ) will see delays.

The CCQ wants to reassure its clientele: it is taking the measures required to send and receive the necessary documents for services that are a high priority.

Even if there are postal service disruptions, you are responsible for fulfilling your obligations to the CCQ, as set out by the law and the regulations. These include, for example, payments and documents that must be provided. Alternative means exist to enable you to fulfil these obligations.

Reissurance of October 2025 pension cheques

We had to reissue the October 2025 pension cheques, as they had already been mailed before the labor dispute began. The new cheques will be sent to customers by private messenger service and will therefore replace those originally issued.

Please note that due to this situation beyond our control, there may be an additional delay of a few days before receiving the reissued cheques.
