Centre de formation de La Haute-Gaspésie

Study program Montage de lignes électriques et de télécommunications / Installation of power and telecommunications lines

The Centre de formation de la Haute-Gaspésie encourages its female students to succeed and persevere in traditionally male-dominated programs that lead to a trade or occupation in construction. It has distinguished itself for its guidance of female students, the equitable adaptation of their physical tests, the training of its teaching staff on inclusion of women, the recognition of female teachers, and the promotion of training at the international level.

Thanks to its efforts, it enrolled a record number of 10 female students last year.

A winning partnership

The CCQ is always so proud of its ongoing relationship with the Ministère de l’Éducation et de l’Enseignement supérieur as part of the Hats off to you! competition, which shines the spotlight on female role models and institutions with a positive influence on women and men in the construction industry.

The CCQ wishes to congratulate the three winners as well as the female students and educational institutions who applied.

Thank you for your exemplary dedication—you are great role models and sources of inspiration!
