The Commission de la construction du Québec (CCQ) is proud to launch the latest version of its Action Plan for People with Disabilities (APPD), an initiative that reflects its commitment to an inclusive and equitable workplace within its organization.

The new plan follows on from the previous plan and highlights the CCQ’s current actions. It aims in particular at removing barriers faced by people with disabilities through four areas of focus:

• Axe 1 : Inclusion and training of CCQ personnel
• Axe 2 : Accessibility to offices and buildings
• Axe 3 : Accessibility to the products and services offered
• Axe 4 : Accessibility to the construction industry

With the APPD, the CCQ reaffirms its desire to build an organization in which each individual can contribute fully. By promoting the inclusion of people with disabilities, The CCQ strengthens its brand as an employer and aspires to reflect the richness of Québec society in its teams.

The 2024 report of the APPD (in French only), presented as an appendix to the new plan, shows the broad scope of the concrete actions taken by the CCQ.
