New hours for the call centres

Starting July 11, 2016, the call centres at the Commission de la construction du Québec (CCQ) will be open Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The telephone services involved are:

  • The line dedicated to workers and the general public (1 888 842-8282)
  • The line dedicated to employers (1 877 973-5383)
  • The line dedicated to the construction industry’s associations 

The other dedicated lines will remain at their usual schedule, as will the service counters.

Positive impacts for the clientele

These changes, planned in the 2016 plan for improvement of accessibility of the CCQ’s telephone services, will respond to the needs expressed by the clientele by supplying a telephone service that is more accessible, coherent, and reliable.

More precisely, the CCQ will facilitate its communications with the clientele:

  • By increasing its availability with lines open earlier on Wednesday mornings
  • By intensifying its accessibility to workers by making the line dedicated to workers available between noon and 1:00 pm., a key time period for this clientele
  • By counting on standardization of scheduled hours to respond to needs expressed by the clientele
