In order to register for the training activities listed in the Répertoire des activités de perfectionnement de l'industrie de la construction, individuals with a training obligation must meet the following admissibility conditions:
- Hold a valid competency certificate issued by the Commission de la construction du Québec (CCQ) connected with the training chosen;
- Have the prerequisites for the course selected.
To be eligible for financial support, applicants must have hours worked and declared to the CCQ connected to the chosen training:
- A minimum of 400 hours worked and declared to the CCQ in their trade or occupation, over 24 of the last 26 months;
- At least 8,000 hours worked and declared to the CCQ in their trade or occupation, including one hour over the last five years.
Additional condition for activities lasting 135 hours or more
Having a total of hours worked and declared to the CCQ in their trade or occupation in connection with the chosen training triple the number of hours of the training. Certain individuals who do not meet this condition may be admitted to the upgrading activities if their participation ensures that the course will be held. However, they will receive no financial support.
