Procedures and Specifications for Submitting the Monthly Report
The Commission de la Construction du Québec (CCQ) is embarking on a digital transformation to improve its customer experience. This transformation leads the organization to review and modernize the monthly report and data validation process.
The Monthly Report
Labor relations in the construction industry are governed by the Act Respecting Labor Relations, Vocational Training, and Workforce Management in the Construction Industry (Act R-20). All employers subject to this Act must submit a monthly report to the Commission de la Construction du Québec regarding their construction activities, even if no work was performed by the employer or their staff, in compliance with the Regulation respecting the register, the monthly report, employer notices, and the designation of a representative (R20, r. 11).
Procedures and Specifications for Service Providers
All service providers such as payroll services, as well as users and owners of accounting software, must update their technological solutions to continue submitting their clients’ monthly reports starting in winter 2026.
